Hot Cross Buns: A Good Friday Tradition

For this week's Wordless Wednesday, I'm sharing some photos of hot cross buns.  Click the link if you are interested in a few words about their tradition, and a hot cross buns recipe for this delicious treat eaten on Good Friday, the Friday before Easter.

Wishing everyone a great Passover today, and a great Easter on Sunday!

Amazing what you see when you really look into the wires above trainlines. :)

  1. Wow, Joy! I wish I have one of the warm buns right now! I love carbs when I'm emotional!!! LOL! I did read your comment over on 'that' web-site and didn't realized that they deleted your comment as well. I want to thank you for being so strong to stand up to those who were backing the wrong-doer. I'm glad they took the blue ribbon away from her....they really should have a general post about this kind of behavior and the consequences. One other member wrote to me and said that there have been quite a lot of bad experiences. Are you still going to remain a member? If so, are you in any of those groups?

I hope that you are having a lovely day! It's nice here too, after all of those tornadoes whipped through. I honestly thought I was Dorothy in Kansas! :-)

Thanks again for your kind love and support!

    Mwah! Roz

  6. I adore hot cross buns, and now I want some. I just haven't had the time for converting a recipe. Maybe next year? For this year I am going to make hot cross bun oatmeal. :)
