Unfortunately many companies which offered freebies in previous years will not be doing so this year, perhaps feeling the pinch of the continued dismal economy. Among the no-longer-participating companies are Starbucks, Jamba Juice, Dunkin' Donuts, Subway, TGIFriday's and many others. Some, like Starbucks, will have offers on other days like Earth Day. And others, like McDonald's, will only have some locations participating, instead of nation-wide.
I found these three food-related free offers for Monday, April 18th:
- Cinnabon will offer two free Classic Cinnabon Bites from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. as part of its Tax Day Bites promotion.
- MaggieMoo's Ice Cream and Treatery will offer a free mini ice cream sundae from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m.. The "Sundae Stimulus" features their new Crumb Cake Fundae, composed of cinnamon Hostess Streusel Cake, cinnamon "Cinamoo" ice cream, caramel sauce, mixed nuts and whipped cream.
- IHOP continues its kids-eat-free special offer for the rest of April. Children 12 and under get a free meal with each paying adult when they come in from 4 p.m. to 10 p.m..
Do you know of any other free offers, whether local or national?

Blogger just ate my comment! Argh!
ReplyDeleteI said, no I don't know of any others. And to add insult to injury my local drive thru Starbucks (with a toddler and baby attached to me at all times - that drive thru is my sanity) is CLOSING during the afternoons next week. Sob. Something about remodeling - whateva!
Christy: None of our Starbucks have a drive through, but those are really practical with young ones in tow. At least the remodeling will create a few jobs.
ReplyDeleteHi there,
ReplyDeleteSorry it's taken me so long to reply to your kind comment on my blog. It's great to meet new bloggers that have an interest in food AND France.
I shall be back soon!
