If you are used to visiting Joy of Desserts, then you probably noticed that I love desserts with fruits. Those are some of my very favorite desserts, so I'm highlighting three of these very tasty fruit recipes.

And I don't think it matters what religion any of us are to enjoy a good doughnut, so don't miss Brigham Young's Buttermilk Doughnuts shared by Ashton of Something Swanky. I'm not Mormon, but I'm a history buff, and I've studied the Overland Journey. Did you know the Mormons literally paved the way West, across the country? They were the main group to create two of the routes west, plus they helped improve relations with Native Americans along the way.

Patti of Comfy Cuisine shared a Kuchen. It's the German word for cake, but one of the many varieties is made in a pie or tart pan, and looks a lot like a fruit pie or tart with its sweet dough crust, custard filling and fresh fruit arranged in a pretty pattern on top. Patti made this lovely German Fresh Peach Kuchen pictured here.

Cares of From Which Things Grow made some individual Plum Upside-Down Cakes. They are picture-perfect, don't you think? Just the kind of beautiful and tasty cake I would enjoy on my August birthday. :-)  Yes, I'm a Leo.

Another great fruit dessert shared last week was Karen's White Nectarine Oatmeal Crumble at Trilogy Edibles. I love the taste of fruit crumbles, and they are so easy to make. You'll get vitamins in the fruit, lots of fiber in the oatmeal, energy from the sugar, and no caffeine in the white chocolate drizzled over the top.

Have a great Monday,

Basic Linky Party How-To:
  1. Link up your participating posts, not your main blog page because you want everyone to be able to find your specific recipes weeks, months, and even years from now. It will bring you more traffic.
  2. Link back to your hostesses in your participating posts, not on another page. In this case, link back to Joy of Desserts. It will increase your search engine visibility.
  3. Visit others and leave comments. It will help you find new followers (and discover tasty recipes too).
Enjoy the process of blogging.
Have a great day!
