Pretty!
ReplyDeleteMe tooo Me toooo......ooooooooohhhhhh I love these pictures. I have been trying to figure out the collage motif. These are lovely :)
ReplyDeleteMy wedding china was Lady Carlyle by Royal Albert! I tried to get a majority of older pieces, though, because the color is better. The pieces that were made in England seem to be of better quality than the pieces that are now made in China. Thankfully, there are a lot of old dishes out there looking for a home!
ReplyDeleteLisa: :-) Thanks.
ReplyDeleteTrish: I use Big Huge Labs at http://bighugelabs.com/mosaic.php
Lauren: Lady Carlyle is a very pretty pattern. Love the pink and roses. It's a real shame that China, can no longer produce quality china/porcelain, at least for export. I don't understand how Royal Albert and others can accept the lower standards.
All four tea cups are beautiful. Old Country Roses is an all time favorite, I don't recognize the blue cup? It looks unique.
ReplyDeleteThank you so much for sharing.
Hugs,
Terri
(I have a month long giveaway going on and one of the items to win is a beautiful tea cup!)
Terri: Thank you. That is a beautiful Russian blue teacup. It is the Singing Garden pattern from Lomonosov. (I just edited the info to the auto-caption, since the photographer had a generic caption.) Thank you for letting me know about your giveaway.
ReplyDeleteI love them all. Nice pictures.

Hi Joy! How have you been these fine spring/summer days? Hope you're doing well. I just had to comment on your teacups in your photo! I love, love, love teacups AND teapots! I simply have to stop collecting them. But I was fortunate enough to teach a seminar in Russia and bought quite a bit of Lomonosov Russian china in various patterns. I have the pattern that you featured in your photo, Catherine's web pattern, etc. and really enjoy all of them. It's nice to know that there are other bloggers out there with similar interests! I really enjoyed this post!
ReplyDeleteThank you all. I'm so glad you enjoyed this post.
ReplyDeleteRoz: What a wonderful opportunity you had to go to Russia. I love Lomonosov porcelain, especially their cobalt designs. :-)
