Ah...pithoi. That brings back good memories. I was a classicist by training and did some archaeological work in Greece and Italy.
ReplyDeleteGreat picture and verse. Thanks for sharing!
ReplyDeleteWow, this is a lovely picture and suits the verse so well! Thanks for sharing. Blessed WFW!
ReplyDeleteLove that! I so need to remember that in case we have a bible trivia and I can "awe" my hubby;I find so many that I want to be my memory verses than remember about the time I try to sample all the desserts at once and realize I have to enjoy just one at a time or I will spoil my goal to memorize verses...though it doesn't hurt to sample either.
ReplyDelete'Course all bets are off when I come here and then I try to figure out how many recipes I can try out in the kitchen at one time and explain to hubby why we suddenly have to have a dessert party else it's just him and me to eat all the goodies. "Sorry hubby, there goes your diet again...yes, I went to Joy's blog again, I can't help it, I'm addicted."
I love to see pictures of items used in Biblical times. It brings to life the things read in Scripture. Your picture and verse are wonderful! Thanks for sharing.
