Dessert Recipes Wanted: Linky Party!

Ready to link up your dessert recipes? Which wonderful desserts will you share with all of us this week?

I'm highlighting Kolaches, Oatmeal Cherry Cookies and Banana Brown Sugar Ice Cream from last week's participants.

Let's all wish a Happy Birthday to Trish of Sweetology who shared a beautiful and touching post about her love for her grandmother. She included two recipes, a traditional Kolaches recipe just like her grandma used to make, and pumpkin Kolaches with cinnamon cream for a Fall variation.

Next up is a Banana Brown Sugar ice cream made with coconut milk from Gloria of Canela Kitchen. She adapted it from a David Lebovitz recipe and even gives you directions on how to make ice cream when you don't have an ice cream maker.

A warm welcome to Ashlee of Capernaum Home who brought us some Oatmeal Cherry Cookies with optional chocolate chips added. Yes, please! Cherries and chocolate go quite well together, and most of us do love chocolate. :-)

Link up your desserts below. Please be sure to follow the basic rules. Thanks.

Have a great Monday, everyone!

BEFORE YOU LINK:
If you follow basic linky party etiquette, I thank you. All your hostesses and fellow bloggers will appreciate it and you will benefit too. You will find that you are helping your own blogs become more popular and helping the foodie community remain a friendly community. Because of those who don't follow such etiquette, I'm saddened to say that for the first time in almost 4 years of blogging, I will have to resort to deleting those who abuse the use of the linky parties here at Joy of Desserts. For basic linky party etiquette you MUST: Follow the linky party theme; link directly to your participating posts; link back to all your hostesses on each participating post (NOT a different page), and don't just link and run. Please do your best to visit fellow participants and leave them a comment. Thank you!

  1. I love kolaches. I've tried to make them (twice) but they haven't turned out as good as the legitimate ones!

  3. Lisa: Three times might be the charm. :-) Take a look at Trish's recipe. She thought it tasted a lot like her grandma's.
