Now, on to the special features. I'm featuring two of your pies this week. I had never heard of Sawdust Pie before. Maybe I'm showing I've been living under a rock? Maybe it's a regional name? Regardless, it's ingredients are super tasty and far better than the name would imply. Go visit Kirsten at The Sweet Swiper to see what I'm talking about.
Nettie at Moore or Less Cooking shared her Cloudy Day Blueberry and Apple Pie. Hers is filled with wild Maine blueberries. Blueberries are so good for us, and of course an apple a day keeps the doctor away, right? Our son's coach recommends an apple a day too.
Have a great Monday!

Thanks so much for featuring my Sawdust Pie! I got a couple of comments from people that seem to have heard of these before.....I do think it's a regional thing....either the south or midwest. Have a fantastic week!
