Announcing New Carnival: Vintage Recipe Thursday


I'm so excited!! I'm taking you with me on a voyage back in time to rediscover wonderful desserts which cannot become forgotten.

I love old cookbooks, and I was delighted to find a great one at my local Friends of the Library shop.

It was first published during the Depression Era, and my 16th printing is from World War II. It is full of money-saving, penny-pinching, extra-flavorful recipes, which is just right for all of us in this economy of extreme recession.

It's out-of-print, the copyright is expired, and the publisher, Household Searchlight, which survived both the Great Depression and World War II, did not survive modern times, so YOU are in luck as I will be reprinting recipes each Thursday.

If you are lucky enough to have such old cookbooks where you don't have to worry about copyrights, feel free to participate with me for Vintage Recipe Thursday.

Your original, old family recipes are more than welcome too!
