Lovely photography to match the verse. What a glorious fig. Have not had one in years. Used to be one over the road on the other farm when I was growing up.

I LOVE that!!! I'm just getting around today...(Thursday...for yesterday!)Busy, crazy day!!I love figs so this reminds me that I need to find SOMETHING to use them in...any good ideas????My gram used to make cookies with figs in them...hmmmmm....I'm not sure how my "people" will react to figs...they'd prefer chocolate chips:) LOL...Great verse.....always one of my favorite WFW places to visit!!peace..lori
Melanie: This is a purple fig. There are also green figs.Lori: Figs are great in cookies and bars as they make them very moist. I love fig tarts (you could add chocolate!) and even just fresh. Just quarter the figs and have a variety of dips: mascarpone, honey, chocolate, caramel, yogurt, whipped cream, etc. They go great with all sorts of cheeses and nuts too.
Hey there....I didn't get your email and I'm totally bummed out...can you resend it....I can't wait to hear what you have to SHARE with me!!peace!lori
